We went to Koh Samui for our 9th anniversary & a much needed vac for Michael. Michael booked a villa w/ a private pool overlooking the ocean. It would have been much better if it wasn't as rainy. On Saturday we went on the "Travel to the Sea" excursion...speedboat to Ang Thong Marine Park for snorkeling, sightseeing on Mae Koh Island where we made a steep but spectacular climb to see the "Green Lagoon" & island view point. From there we cruised over to Tai Phow Island for a lunch buffet on the beach & kayaked around the island afterwards. Just about everyone were napping on the way back to the mainland for the elephant trekking. Very cool experience. Since we were exhausted from the excursion we decided to treat ourselves to a spa treatment the next day. We rented a motorcycle on Sunday & explored the whole island within 2 hrs, the last hour in the rain...I discovered that rain hits hard when you are riding on a bike.
